Ender 3 Simple Tool Tray (Above PSU Mount)
thingiverse
I've already found plenty of excellent tool holders on thingiverse, and I use several for my Ender 3 printer. However, I created this design as a storage box to keep a few spare parts that don't have an assigned place and are not frequently used but still worth keeping with the printer - like leftover cutters, bed clips, drive belts, and more. There are two versions of this tool holder available. The first one is 110mm long, which should fit perfectly level with the end of the power supply, while the second version is slightly longer and overhangs just a bit, no more than the rear of the bed or frame. Some people might not like the look of an overhang, so I included both options. I printed my tool holder at 0.3mm layer height with 10% infill (using a 0.6mm nozzle) in PLA plastic. As long as you don't expect it to hold heavy concrete or bear weight, there's no need to use more plastic than necessary. There are already two holes spaced out for you to attach T nuts and bolts to the rear of the frame - just be sure not to overtighten the nuts. To avoid any rattling sounds, I mounted mine a few mm off the power supply. Your experience may vary, but feel free to try it out and let me know how it goes.
