This is an updated take on the widely used side spool support for Ender 3 printers. The original design relied on bolts and t-nuts, but it required additional hardware to function properly. A well-known remix of this setup replaced the bolts with a plastic plug that fits snugly into one of the v-slots, providing a more straightforward assembly process. However, some users have expressed concerns about the fragility of this plastic component. In response, a new and improved design has been created, which features two locking mechanisms - one on each v-slot - to ensure maximum stability and sturdiness.
