My workspace doesn't allow for the top-mount approach that comes with the printer, but I found CHEP's approach luckily that moves the spool to the side. Unfortunately, it isn't reliable enough for me since the wires coming from under the printer would sometimes snag even with cable management. As a result, I extended the piece out more laterally just enough for clearance which still allows for adequate meshing with another Ender 3 next to it. Uses same mounting hardware found with stock Ender 3. Refer to CHEP's video on YT for more info.
