## Changes in this Remix * The Base has been split into two parts to avoid the need for heavy-duty support structures. * Modified to fit a Raspberry Pi Model 1B, which is all I had available. ## Overall Project Steps 1. Create Y-splitter using one male to two female XT60 connectors. This connects to the printer's 24VDC supply. 2. Solder male XT60 connector to input side of DC-DC Buck Converter module. 3. Connect converter input to Y-splitter (which is connected to 24VDC), and output to multimeter. Turn printer on and adjust pot until you receive 5V on buck converter output. 4. Solder output to Raspberry Pi 5V and GND GPIO pins. You may want to include connectors so this can be disconnected if required. 5. Use the LM2596S Case to house the buck converter module. 6. Connect the Raspberry Pi Camera Cable to Pi. This is the only thing that needs to be connected before putting in case. 7. Print the three thing files in this remix (Base, Lid and Mount) to create a housing for the raspberry pi. 8. Insert the Mount into the Base, followed by the Pi. 9. Attach the Lid to the Base using three screws. Ensure the power cables exit the hole adjacent to the USB ports, and the camera cable exits the slot adjacent to the HDMI input (again, refer photos). 10. Bolt the raspberry pi onto the side of the Ender 3 using spare bolts and hammer nuts supplied with the printer. 11. Print ~16 Link Mods. Connect together and attach to the Pi Case. 12. Connect link mods to Pi case, and run cable through them. TIP: If cable is too long, fold back on itself and store the excess in the link mods. 13. Print the Pi Camera Mount Version 2.1 or Version 1.3 depending on your camera. And screw Bracket to printer as per photos. 14. Connect end of Link Mods to the Bracket. 15. Connect cable to Pi Camera, and insert camera into Back/Front. 16. Bolt Camera Back/Front onto bracket. 17. Tidy up cables using these Cable Clips
