Ender 3 side Electronics box (LCD and SKR v1.3 and v1.4)
thingiverse
I'm glad you liked thing:4075689! I was inspired to create my own design after discovering some dimension issues. I wanted to build a case that could move electronics to the side, so I designed this one to fit a SKR v1.3 and v1.4 (including Turbo) perfectly. Here are its key features: - The main body is split into two parts, making it easy to print laterally facing down on your table; - Both parts can be joined using epoxy glue, super glue, or six 4mm or 6mm M3 screws (with a spacer required for the latter); - This design is shorter than thing:4075689, with an extra centimeter added to the base for better cable management; - The fan ducts have been enlarged to improve airflow. To print this case, you'll need: - Four 8mm M3 screws for the base - Six 4mm or 6mm M3 screws to join both parts (optional) - Four 4mm or 6mm screws to secure the board to the base Printing time is approximately five hours per part, making it a total of fifteen hours. Supports are not required, unless you're very particular about the right part. This case can be printed with PLA or PETG, and an infill percentage of less than 20%.
