This is a remix of a great little part, but the model was appearantly designed for a direct drive conversion. I just went and added a mounting face for the factory extruder. So far everything works great and the part, while thin in the extruder area, is strong enough without being abused. One major flaw that was corrected in the attached files is that the hole for the eccentric bushing on the axis was incorrectly sized in the original files. It is correct here. The original author states using a 450mm length ball screw, which is correct. However, in my case, I have an enclosure and thus had to cut off a section of the ball screw. The correct measurement to cut is shown in the picture above.Lastly, you will need to change your steps/mm on the Z axis from 400 (stock T8 lead screw) to 800 as this is a 4mm/rev ball screw.Mounting fasteners used are SHCS M4 x 25 with a M5 washer. You can use a shorter screw as well as an M5 if preferred. Please feel free to modify the design as you need to. I hope this design helps people who have a worn out brass lead screw nut like my older Ender 3 pro.Print SettingsPrinter: Ender 3 ProRafts: Doesn't MatterSupports: YesResolution: 0.36Infill: 25%Filament brand: Matterhackers MH BuildFilament color: BlackFilament material: PETGNotes: Print with the Delrin roller mounting face on the build plate.
