Ender 3 Second Z-Axis Topper
thingiverse
I upgraded the printer's drive system with a new z-axis drive for enhanced stability. The lead screw for this axis is notably long, as evident from the attached photo. Initially, I had planned to shorten it, but then I opted to add a die on top instead. My granddaughter suggested using a die, which sparked the idea in me. I rely on Maker Geeks Raptor Series PLA filament, thanks to its excellent performance in both printing and bed adhesion tests. Eventually, I intend to paint the small indents on the die with acrylic paint when my schedule permits.
