Ender 3 - SD Card Deep Front Mount with USB Cutout
thingiverse
A modification of skydog538's deep front mount, enclosing the micro-SD port and ribbon cable, caught my attention. Unfortunately, his design didn't utilize the USB cable, so it was sealed up. This modified version features a cutout for the USB cable to ensure easy access. The existing screws on the left side front frame secure the mount in place. Using SketchUp, I created a cutout from skydog538's .stl file and then made it manifold using Netfabb. To take this design to the next level, I added a mini-USB plug cover that keeps the cable organized and makes inserting the USB plug into the Ender much simpler.
