Instead of using a piece of paper for calibrations, I ordered the following digital indicator: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33042572608.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.31.21ef1802kg1UTy From metal with 0-12.7x0.01mm resolution. For the installation, I used 2 bolts DIN 912 M3*10 on the original extruder tapped holes. please see the attached photo to see what it looks like after the installation. While printing you should take off the indicator!
