This design showcases a Rolling Bearing Spool Holder for the Ender 3, boasting innovative use of Patio Door bearings sourced from local Home Depot, Lowes, or Hardware stores. Each bearing boasts a 1/4 inch diameter hole, perfectly complemented by a central shaft crafted from a 1/4 inch wooden dowel. The C-channel connecting plate securely attaches to the standard Metal Spool Holder via Zip Ties, providing stability and support for the bearing roller. A Cylinder 2 inches in length is featured in this design, but users can easily customize the part's dimensions to accommodate different filament spools by printing one of any desired length. The 3D printed components were expertly designed using the free EMachineShop software.
