Ender 3 RJ45 Connectivity Suite
thingiverse
I wanted to relocate the electronics and power supply out of my Ender 3 when I built an enclosure, so I wouldn't have to make several longer cables. This setup enables the use of CAT6 Ethernet cables between the controller (on the bottom of the enclosure) and the actual components. Each set of wires is labeled for easy identification, allowing me to utilize a second z-axis motor. The heated bed and hot end are connected using WAGO Lever Nuts. Parts required: Breakout Plate - External Extrusion: This plate accommodates the extruder lines on the bottom of the enclosure table. Breakout Plate - External Motion: This plate handles x/y/z axis lines, including endstops and heated bed thermistor, located on the bottom of the enclosure table. Breakout Plate - Inner Rail: This plate manages x/y/z axis lines in between two rails near the back of the printer. Breakout Mount Cover: Designed to slide over the top of the breakout mounts, this cover allows for color-coding of Ethernet cables.
