Ender 3 Removable Flexible Metal Bedplate Handle

I've been on the hunt for a flexible, magnetic bedplate that fits my Creality Ender 3 perfectly, but most options are way out of budget. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create one. Here's what you'll need: * A 235mm x 255mm x 0.75mm Galvanised Iron metal sheet - perfect for the base * 3x M3 6mm screws - these will secure everything in place * 3x 985 M3 nuts (6mm Hex) - a crucial part of the magnetic system * A 300mm Build Plate surface sticker, cut down to fit your unique bed size - there are plenty of options available * 8x 250mm x 3mm Circular Magnets - these will stick to the underside of the heated plate using silicon dots Important: make sure you cut the build surface to 325mmx325mm, leaving a 20mm clearance on one edge of the metal sheet. This will allow the sheet to fit snugly into the handle. It may not be the most stylish creation, but it gets the job done. The handle is actually pretty handy for removing the plate from the bed - it's a lifesaver when the plate gets too hot and you don't want to burn your fingers.
