I have tried numerous switches for Z endstop on my ender-3. I was reading about reed switches and repeatability is like .00165. So I ordered one and so far I have not had to re-level for 18 prints and going. So I decided to post this. Much cheaper than ABL or BL-Touch. No need to make changes in Marlin. UPDATE 8/3/2021 I have added a new magnet holder. It holds two magnets. Make sure they are oriented right or the switch will not work. For best operation. Straight on it would not trigger right and it did so up to 1+ inches away. Put nozzle down to the bed. Adjust switch to be 1/4 inch from the magnet. Then level the bed. Print.
