Ender 3 Rear Camera Mount and Housing with LED Lighting
thingiverse
Pi Camera Housing and Mount with Integrated LED Lighting. Detachable Mount Joint for Alternate Options. Mounting the camera at the rear keeps it out of the way, providing an easy guide for rear clearance needed for bed wiring (Designed to be as far back as those cables go). LEDs are connected to 5V power from my PI with a resistor and set up on a photo-sensitive relay so they only turn on when the LEDs in the Enders frame turn off (PI cuts power to printer with a second relay after print job for safety). Version on my printer is an earlier revision, added more clearance for the bed, added overlapping seams to the housing to stop light leakage and updated the hinge. Couldn't be bothered reprinting as it's currently working with a bit of filing and a zip tie. Updated version would not require either of these. 1X 12mm M4 bolt for the Joint along with a wing nut. 5X 7-8mm M3 Bolts to attach the hinge to the bracket and mount. 4X 12mm M3 Bolts to close the camera housing and Bracket to Y stepper motor. 10X 5mm White LEDs for lighting 1X V1 Pi Camera and Cable Optional Relay - Need to de-solder the photo resistor and add in some longer wires to wherever your main light source is. Updated Rear of the Camera Housing to add more clearance on 25/11/2019.
