The Ender 3 PSU is held in place by only two screws. Over time, these screws can become stressed. A small support placed on top of the 40x40 extrude and underneath the PSU helps alleviate this issue. Installation requires caution: remove the end cap slowly to avoid breaking the tender post that fits into the extrude slot. I broke mine, but it's not a big deal. Slide the piece along the extrude and position it under the PSU. If it's too tight, file down a little.
