I designed this to keep dust out of my PSU when I'm not using it, and that helps reduce noise too. It's also a dust-gathering machine - my AC unit is basically a dust factory! You can attach it however you like, but double-sided tape or certain types of glue seem to work well. A small amount of CA glue in the corners worked perfectly for me.
