Ender 3 Pro Y Belt Tensioner Body Remix
thingiverse
I really like Misterguru's design, so I decided to use it, but the body removes about 2cm of travel from the Y axis. As someone who's a bit OCD, I couldn't bear the thought of sacrificing even a tiny fraction of the listed specifications, no matter how unlikely it is that I'll ever print something requiring that extra space. I tried using Comely_Cool's alternative Y-axis tensioner, but its tight tolerances proved to be way beyond my novice skills and printer. So, I took on the challenge of remixing Misterguru's design with my own limited CAD skills. You'll still need the screw and knob from his kit, as they remain unchanged. After some trial and error, it seems to work seamlessly on my machine without interfering with Y-axis travel. If you have any suggestions or improvements, please feel free to share them. Just be sure to orient the print correctly, as it will require supports.
