This mount is designed to work with these stepper motor dampers from Amazon (in case it goes down, it's listed as *"CCTREE NEMA 17 Stepper Steel and Rubber Vibration Dampers with M3 Screw Upgrade for Creality Ender 3 Ender 3 pro CR-10 CR-10S 3D Printer,CNC (Pack of 3)".* The Ender 3 Pro has press fit gears that move the Y belt. You can probably get them off if you tried hard enough, but I wanted an easy solution that didn't risk permanent damage. I printed this with PLA at 40%/100% infill mix and it's very strong for being plastic. There are other mounts that people have made for this, but I wanted to practice 3d modeling, and it can't hurt to have options. [I strongly suggest printing these 2 areas at 100% infill, it makes it much stronger.](https://i.imgur.com/7QNLco0.png) [This is a rudimentary picture of how to take apart the motor assembly.](https://i.imgur.com/0YDTKOS.png) All you have to do is take out the 4 screws going into the motor, 3 screws going into the frame, and unhooking the belt from underneath the platform. There's also a bearing that the belt rides on so it doesn't rub the frame. Take that off too. When you put the part you printed on, but the damper between the mount and the motor. 2 screws go into the motor, and 2 screws go into the damper holding it onto the plastic. See pic [#1](https://i.imgur.com/iQk3e9O.jpg) and [#2](https://i.imgur.com/kWlCszw.png) [Due to how it lines up, this screw can be hard to get to](https://i.imgur.com/h6hwMIb.png). If you shove the end of the allen wrench that comes with the machine into the screw, you can get it tightened down. I may redesign this in the future if there's demand.
