Ender 3 / Pro / V2 z-axis motor mount (adjusted fit & stepper damper compatible)
thingiverse
I originally printed [this z-axis mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4699747) by [mknet](https://www.thingiverse.com/mknet) for my Ender 3 Pro but found that the extrusions that were supposed to slide into the 2040 v-frames just wouldn't, even after sanding. I started looking through the remixes and found two that stuck out to me. 1. [This mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4712858) by [ReDaLeRt](https://www.thingiverse.com/redalert) had an adjusted fit to solve my exact problem. 2. [This mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4752465) by [rucker](https://www.thingiverse.com/rucker) had a notch cut out in case I decide to add stepper motor dampers or remove my glass bed later on. All I did was take the two mounts, slice them, and combine them. All of the credit for this version really goes to those other designers, and I have to say they did a great job. This mount fixed problems with my z-rod alignment that I didn't even realize I had. To install the mount, you can reuse your existing mount screws and add two additional M3-0.5 x 6mm screws for the attaching the thinnest part of the mount to the motor. I grabbed mine from the local Home Depot for $1.25.
