Ender 3 / Pro / V2 Light Mod

Light Mod for Ender 3 / Pro / V2. Soldering and assembly required. Done so at your own risk. Uses Ender 3 Pro 24v power supply to power 12v LED lights via a potenital divider made with two 1k ohms resistors in series. See pictures and diagram. Bulb holders held in place with buld covers which are glued on after the bulb holders are inserted. All soldering best done before assembly. I purchased the Bulbs, Holders and Switch from https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/ see attached shopping cart image for part numbers. Other Items needed: Shrink Sleeve for the switch terminals Cable Veroboard for the circuit 2 x 1K ohm resistors 2 x T-nuts and bolts (I used the ones from the Z axis switch as I have a BL Touch installed) 2 x ring terminations (to connect to printer power supply) Tools: Hot glue gun Soldering iron and solder crimp tool for ring terminations Allen Keys (From printer kit) Things to note: Cable to be soldered to veroboard as per the circuit schematic and cut to length during assembly. Veroboard is to be glue into the box inside the housing. Bulb holder solder legs are a different heights, the lower of the two legs is furthest away from the switch. Bulb covers are fitted and glued after the bulb holders have been soldered and fitted into position. Hole in the bulb cover to align with the pin that protrudes from the bulb holder when the bulbs are inserted!!! LED's are polarity sensitive, meaning that they have to be wired in correctly to work. Don't terminate the feed cables until you have measured the amount of wire you need to get from the light unit to the power supply terminals. Brown wires are positive, blue wires are negative.
