Ender 3 pro tool/glue holder & V-Slot cover
thingiverse
I really liked Cookiehobbit's design, but wanted to be able to hold my snips and glue stick as well. I made my adapter to scale, but like the original tool holder design, the tool holder .stl file will possibly need scaled to 1000% on cura. The adapter can print straight up without supports, but I rotated the tool holder upside down. It took about 9 hours to print (on my settings I'm still trying to dial.) I made the snips hole larger than it needed to be in case someone had larger snips or something else they wanted to store there, but I made the adapter file to hold the snips that come with the Ender 3's. It should fit nicely into the tool holder model. This was my first time editing a .stl (as I usually edit solid parts like .stp) using Solidworks, so there is some errors in cura, but it seemed to print fine ignoring them. *Note the picture is of the prototype and I had to cut the outer wall away on the snips holder to make the adapter fit on that version. The version I uploaded is the updated model and should require no post processing besides cleaning the part and removing supports. (I just didn't have time to print the updated model yet.)
