This is the best upgrade you can do to your ender 3. Its really a huge difference at high speed because at the right of the z axis it move a bit in Y axis You need a ender 3 for parts Something to bend or cut metal Equipment for soldering OR The complete kit cost 50$ on site like amaz0n 15$ @liexpress 1 month delivery READ EVERYTHING BEFORE DOING ANYTHING /!\ I had an ender 3 not working so i keep it for parts and upgrade, so if you are like me and have an other ender 3 (or 3 pro) you can take the motor of the z axis the lead screw and the mount that hold the extruder to put a second z axis on your other ender 3 for free. Ok, yes this is only saving 15$ and the month delivery but (when you have all the thing to do it) its pretty fun! Instruction : Take a cables of any motor from the ender for part and cut the connetor that go to the board, weld this cable to the cable for the connector of the lead screw motor on the ender 3 or (3 pro) that you are upgrading they are the same motor so current send from the board have to be the same to both motor. You don't cut any of the cable (from the working ender) you remove a part of the cover of the cable to plug the other to it then weld it, if you do otherwise, you will make mistake. help you from image. (if you can't cut the extruder mount you can bend it because otherwise the head will punch it) Cut or bend the extruder mount that you take from the ender 3 for part and keep the part that let the lead screw pass through (you can see on a photo where to cut (the little red line)). Now that you have this piece you just have to unscrew the left screw of the x axe belt tensionner put it there and screw back. It rotate, its normal. Now find a screw that fit the thing on the photo with the yellow light, that is not too small to fit the printed thing, if its too long you can use a spacer like me (there are 2 hole only 1 will be usefull. Unscrew the lead screw from the motor, mount the motor to the printed thing, remove the screen, slide it in like you see it on the image (don't tight now leave it loose), pass the lead screw to the hole maked for it (in the mount of the "extruder") and align the mounted motor to it and put the lead screw back to the motor. before tighting the printed thing to the printer auto home the printer 3 time. Don't forget to tight it! The screen don't fit so you can bend it. unscrew the screen board and bend it like on the image. (this is a other upgrade i prefer the angle when its bended like this) That's it, now you can show off! Probably no one will do this upgrade but if you do i can show you more upgrade: If you have a any hesitation ask me for help on discord : poussinjaune
