As I switched to a new spool holder on the side of my printer, I encountered a problem where the spool fell out. This occurred when the extruder dropped down and struck the spool, even though the holder was positioned all the way back in the printer. This component prevents the spool from escaping its designated spot. It comes in three convenient pieces.
