ENDER 3 PRO - SKR MINI E3 V3 CASE PCB BACKSIDE PIN SOLDER JOINT CUTOUTS
thingiverse
So I originally printed out the SKR MINI E3 V3 Case created by MrTeliP, but when I installed by SKR Mini E3 V3 board it wouldn't sit flush in the case by either 1mm on one side, or by a 4-5mm on the other side.It looked like with my board, I'm not sure about anyone else but my PCB had slightly long component pins and solder joint extrusions hanging off of the bottom from component pins being soldered to the board and them poking out on the back side of the board, and when the board was set into place the pins would sit on the ribbing of the case and it wouldn't sit flush against the screw standoffs. So I initially took my original print of the case, used a Dremel and woodworking chisel that was sharp, and cut out the parts that were touching the pins/case ribbing.here is my remix of the case, so the board sits flush on the screw stand-offs and is perfectly level, my friend has the same board and he said his doesn't sit flush but he still just screwed the board all the way down, now on his case there are small indents of the pins touching.
