Ender 3 Pro SD card adapter case
thingiverse
I wanted to utilize a full-size SD card on my Ender 3 Pro, but every adapter I could find was misaligned in a way that without twisting the ribbon cable, the card label would be facing away from me. This mount offers room to twist the ribbon cable - try using the shortest one you can locate. The USB port is covered, yet many users like myself don't utilize it anyway. To achieve a tighter fit, I had to shim my card holder in the case, while others may need to file the opening or add shims as well. The mounting screw tab is angled by 1.5 degrees from the box to push it against the electronics case securely. The prototype shown in the photo works perfectly for me, and this file features improved leveling reminder text and arrows, plus a card alignment graphic for better visibility. It also boasts a larger access hole on the back for the micro end of the ribbon to pass through easily. Supports can be challenging due to cross bars on the bottom that keep the ribbon contained, but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out!
