Ender 3 Pro PSU Cover (with space for relay & buck converter)

thingiverse

This is a remix of [mfau's](https://www.thingiverse.com/mfau/about) ["Ender 3 PSU cover with USB"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3225570) fitting the Ender 3 Pro power supply (Meanwell LRS-350-24). I wanted to fit this cover on my Ender 3 Pro which has a thinner power supply compared to the normal Ender 3. I also wanted to have a relay (controlled by a Raspberry Pi) and a buck converter (to power the relay and the Raspberry Pi) directly fitted into it. The cover consists of two parts: the base and the side cover, which is bolt-on. <h3>Features/Modifications:</h3> * A power socket on the rear instead of the side. The switch can be either inside or outside. * A divider between the mains AC section and the low voltage DC section of the cover. * A mount for a relay and a DC/DC step down converter. * A cable opening moved to the side with a little guide/cover instead of underneath. * A ledge on the inside to prevent the PSU from falling down into the cover and potentially shorting any wires. * A removable side cover to provide easy access to the PSU terminals and the relay or buck converter. Included are two STL files (base and side cover separated), STEP files (one including the used reference models) and the Fusion Project (.F3Z). Feel free to remix this thing for your own needs. <h3>Required Hardware</h3> * To fit the cover to the PSU, you can use the three original M4 bolts. * The side cover, relay and buck converter are bolt-on using self-tapping screws (DIN 7981 2.9x6.5mm, M3 x 6mm may also work). The screw holes have a diameter of 2.75mm and are 5mm deep and designed so that the screws cut the threads. * The relay I've used and for which the screw holes (34.3x66.5mm) are fitted: [1CH 30A relay module](https://de.aliexpress.com/item/32914268625.html) * The buck converter I've used and for which the screw holes (two diagonal holes 34mm apart) are fitted: [DC-DC Step Down Buck Converter LM2596](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32798886986.html) To remove the original PSU cover and install this one, you need to access the PSU terminals. BE SURE TO REMOVE THE POWER TAIL BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!
