Ender 3 Pro Pi Camera Rail Mount
prusaprinters

I couldn't find a camera mount that I wanted to use so I made this one. It extends a rail cover to mount directly off the front of the Ender 3 Pro (and probably others?). The rail cover was the clean version of this thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3476490, and I added the arm onto it, up to the top loop. The loop fits nicely with this pi cam, and likely many others as well: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1718628

I included my logo on the rail cover for fun, but also a clean unbranded one.

Feel free to get creative and enhance or adapt as you wish.

Note: the 3d render of the branded rail mount has some weird artifacts here, but it'll print fine. It's also actually centered, unlike the printed example in the picture

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3 Pro

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2mm

Infill:

15%

Notes:

Print the files as oriented, no supports or raft needed.

Post-Printing

Assemble per the tinkercad photo below. M3 bolts can be used to lock in the two arm pieces and the camera top piece, although the joints are snug and can stay in place on their own.

How I Designed This

Designed in Tinkercad

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
