Ender 3 (Pro) - MKS Gen L Case

thingiverse

This mod replaces the stock Ender 3 (Pro) mainboard case with one designed specifically for the MKS Gen L. If you're interested in learning more, I recommend checking out [Teaching Tech's](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbgBDBrwsikmtoLqtpc59Bw) detailed video guide. The primary goal of this design was to achieve a sleek appearance while still ensuring adequate cooling for TMC stepper motor drivers. In my setup, the 4010 fan blows air out of the box, allowing fresh air to be drawn in directly above the stepper motor drivers. The case comes in two versions: one that covers the front of the 4040 rail, which it attaches to, and a second version that does not. While this design shares some similarities with my Raspberry Pi cases (Model A+ or Model B+), they are entirely independent. **Parts Used:** * MKS Gen L V1.0 mainboard and stepper motor drivers (TMC2208 in my case) * 4010 fan (40mm x 40mm x 10mm), compatible with both 24V and 5V fans supported by the MKS Gen L * M3 screws: 6x 8mm (mainboard mount, lid), 4x 12mm (fan), and 10x nuts A STEP file is included for those who wish to make modifications. If you have any feedback or comments on this design, please don't hesitate to share them with me.
