Ender 3 Pro Micro Switch Runout Sensor

Found this model over on thingiverse. Just search Bodroi or 4937795 for the model I used.

His used the original Z-Stop switch and circuit board. I couldn't find mine (I did after I built this one), so I made one out of his that uses a micro switch. I like over engineered stuff, and his is great. Smooth, dense feeling, and out of the way (not very forgiving on filament direction though).

I edited his in Tinkercad, removed the original holes for the switch, made elongated holes for the micro switch (needs to be adjusted a little bit), and stacked the bottom of the case on the bracket so they print as a unit (Not sure it's any easier, but so far so good).

I printed mine in Clear and Yellow PLA on my Ender 3 Pro. 205* hotend/60* bed (on PEI). I used .12 mm (.24 1st layer) but it could be courser with out issue I think. If you print the version that is combined, you will probably need supports for one corner of the case. I used Cura 5.something.something, .12 resolution, 5% infill (Lines), 3 layer bottom skin, 4 layer top skin, 3 walls, zero on elephants foot and 0 on hole size (they're pretty snug, but usable).
