Ender 3 Pro/Max - Electronics Box
Size: 26x27x10 cm Description This box is designed for my Ender 3 Max running Octoprint and silent fans. Design philosophy is an easy to open enclosure that allows for easy and frequent rewiring. Layout is optimized for cable management with slots for velcro wire straps. The weight of the box is balanced so it can stand on its side without falling over and the screen can still be accessed. Installed a Noctua A12x25 for ultra quiet cooling
Printer Parts
| | Screw Type | Amount | |--------------------|----------------|--------| | 4.2.2 mainboard | M3x5 | 5 | | Power Supply Unit | M5x20 | 4 | | Power Socket | 4,5mm | 2 | | Raspberry Pi 4 | M3x5 | 4 | | Buck Converter | M3x5 | 2 | | Ender 3 Pro screen | M3x5 | 4 | | 12cm Case Fan | 4,5mm | 4 |
Screws total
- M3x5 = 15 - M5x20 = 4 - 4,5mm = 6 ( + 5 for lid )
Screws Total
- Use 2x 20mm wide velcro straps for cable management. - Slightly raise the button by inserting something inside it, otherwise it bottoms out against casing and won't click properly - Check max fan voltage before connecting.
