Ender 3 PRO Mainboard Case with better cooling
thingiverse
I was worried about the cooling capabilities of the small mainboard fan on my Ender 3 PRO and the lack of control in case it failed. My solution lets me use standard 120mm fans, which shouldn't be powered by the mainboard. Mainboard power is 24V, and I'm not sure how much the driver can handle. I used an external 230V/12V PSU and a silent 12V fan. It's worked perfectly even in 36-degree summer weather. There are two different fan mounting units with varying degrees of slope - use the one with less slope for bigger fans, which should be quieter but needs a bit more space.
