Ender 3 Pro Light Bar Mount

Ender 3 Pro Light Bar Mount

I loved this light bar so much for my Prusa Mini+ so I made one for my Ender 3 Pro by combining the two models below. This should fit any 20mm v-slot extrusion.

Original light bar holder: https://www.printables.com/model/58016-prusa-mini-rechargeable-led-light-bar-mount

Original extrusion attachment + arm: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3361566

Rechargeable light bar: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BWJH8LX
I love this light - no wiring, plugs, or batteries to change. Recharges using a USB cord (included) and can be easily slid in and out of this mount. If yours prints a little too tight, use a bed scraping tool to shave a little bit of the inside edge of the rectangle so the light bar can slide in and out.

Notes:

Printed on in PLA on its side with no supports, 25% infill, draft mode (0.24mm layer height) on Ender 3 Pro. If I had yellow PETG I probably would have opted for that.

Remove the end-cap of the top bar and slide it along the edge from the end to install. It is difficult to snap over the top of the bar without bending/breaking the model.

I added a hole on the top to allow you to secure it further with an m5x10 screw and m5 t-nut.

I made the arm skinnier to save space for 2 mounts if you wish, and also to cover up less of the light.

I shrunk the clips that grip onto the extrusion as the original creator said his printed a little small.

Additional Ideas:

Since the light bar is sold in a pack of 2, you can print extra mounts and have lights on both the front and back side of the printer.

You might consider printing two and supporting the light bar on either side. One of them works fine, but the light sags a little and doesn't look as clean. Two works great.

You could customize the top of it (with your name or logo, etc) and print it upside down (on the customized face) without supports.

Let me know if this works for you and post your pictures here!
