Ender 3 Pro Left Drawer

Ender 3 Pro Left Drawer

My first design - A tray that fits perfectly on the left of the central Y-axis above the PCB enclosure, specifically designed to catch excess filament and prevent it from landing in the frame channels. It's also ideal for storing tools when using channel covers. Note: This design is not suitable for non-Pro versions of the Ender 3 due to the position of the PCB enclosure fan vent. This tray includes cut-outs that allow you to slide over case screws, as well as a Z-axis end stop cable. Once installed, it snaps securely into the Y-axis frame channel, making removal easy by releasing the Y-axis belt tensioner and sliding it out. The final version has notches that provide clearance for Y-axis wheels, although I haven't printed this version yet. To add these notches to my existing tray, I used a Dremel tool. A hinged front door is also included, allowing you to sweep the filament out easily when needed. The hinge pins are made from large paper clips (1.8mm diameter wire).
