An Essential Spring Extruder Shim for Your Ender 3 or Pro 3D Printer. If your spring has become too loose, I've got a solution. You can find two STL files here that will help you adjust the tension. One file is designed for a 6mm height shim, while the other is intended for a 9mm height shim. However, be aware that the 9mm option may be overkill and requires support material to ensure a clean print. Without it, the base plate might not make proper contact. You can fine-tune the tension by adjusting the M3 screw that holds the shim in place. For installation instructions, please refer to the accompanying pictures.
