My Ender 3 Pro purchased late 2021 has a round shaft on the extruder motor, so I modified this knob to incorporate it. Shaft is 5mm, hole is 5.15mm and gives a snug fit. I printed with no supports upside down -- logo came out a little messy because of this but overall works for me. Raft might help.
