Ender 3 (Pro) Direct Drive System
thingiverse
This direct drive system was designed for my Ender 3 Pro, but should fit any Ender 3 I believe. My goal was to design a cheap alternative for converting an Ender 3 Pro to direct drive without breaking the bank. This setup cost about $30 dollars for the extruder and extruder motor. The carriage and fan cover are printed in PLA, and so far has held up for over 100 hours of printing PETG (230 degree hotend temps). If you are interested in seeing how you should print / prep these parts and get the links for the extruder parts, check out the video I made here: https://youtu.be/fmI4k67DU_0 Videos of the first revision design and installation can also be found on my YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/PrintPractical Donations: paypal.me/ChrisBuchter NOTE: I am not responsible for any issues that may occur from using this setup. I am going to continue to revise the design based on my own experiences and any feedback received, but it is not guaranteed.
