thingiverse
So you want to put Noctua silent fans on your printer, but there's one little hiccup. your printers fan ports are 24V and most fans are only rated for 12V. This Setup Solves That Problem This Print encloses (2) power converter boards that step your fan voltage down to 12V, or vice versa if needed. (link to power converters in notes.) One is used for your hot end, and one is used for part cooling. inside the case are posts designed for (4) M3 screws mounting each converter to the enclosure, (2) more M3 screws paired with (2) T nuts (3d printable file linked in notes,) secure the enclosure to your v lot rail. The enclosure also has two ports in the back left and right corner fo neat and clean wire routing. A smooth finished lid with window ports to view the two screens that monitor voltage, and filleted edges top this project off. Will be adding file for v slot clips to route wires neatly back to the motherboard.
