Ender 3 Pi Shelf

Ender 3 Pi Shelf

thingiverse

I'm thinking of adding a sliding shelf to my Ender 3 printer, which will sit atop the top bar. I plan to secure this shelf using two or three pieces of Velcro, allowing me to place my Raspberry Pi on top without any hassle. My Pi is already encased in its own protective shell, and since it's connected to a camera, I'll hang that from above the printer. To achieve this, I'll order a longer camera cable to extend its reach. Using just Velcro for this shelf is ideal because if I need to remove it while printing, it comes off easily without causing any issues. I haven't printed the V2 version yet, but I'm confident it will work well since I made some adjustments to the port where the shelf slides in to make it more stable. So far, the shelf fits perfectly and is quite sturdy. If you're interested in trying this out on your printer, let me know if it works for you as well.
