Ender 3 pi cam mount low profile clip on
thingiverse
This is a custom camera mount for your Ender 3 Raspberry Pi camera, designed to sit at eye level to the first layer on your print bed. It clips directly onto your frame without requiring any screws or assembly, holding it securely in place. The recommended camera case for this mount can be found right here, but we suggest checking out the Pi Cam remixes for the latest updates and compatibility with current Raspberry Pi camera types. This project is still a work in progress, so please check the latest release notes for any updates. Thanks! Click here for the compatible case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1718628 Version 2: To improve the design, I increased the height by 8mm after assembly, which made it just the right fit. I also added a slot for the Pi Cam cable to pass through, eliminating the need for the wide pass-through on the original design. The updated mount now sits about 75% over the bed, providing an even view with the nozzle and allowing for proper camera placement under the nozzle. I'll be uploading another STL file without text on the print soon, and I suggest adjusting the infill amount to 20% for added strength. While 10% worked fine, a higher infill percentage gives the print a more solid feel.
