Hey Folks, Due to significant upgrades made to my Ender 3, a few complications arose. However, I've created this mod for anyone seeking maximum Y-Travel from the Ender 3. For me, it was essential to get the Nozzle into the -Y range of at least 5mm to execute purge and cleaning actions efficiently. A hint: Some beds may be installed incorrectly or might benefit from a 180° rotation of the bed baseplate (x-formed bed holder). With this small bracket, you'll be able to achieve a Y-travel range of up to -15mm. The print time is approximately 30 minutes. Have fun. *Advanced* Some users might want to utilize a purge instead of an "prime nozzle line" during printing. I've modified the startscript code for this purpose: G92 E0 G1 X0 Y-5 Z0.1 F1500.0 E15 This modification allows the build plate to remove material when starting print, and the nozzle will be perfectly primed. Make sure your Z-height is precisely adjusted to avoid damaging the build plate. I don't recommend using this on weak surfaces like BuildTak or others. Glas or Ultrabase beds are suitable for this mod.
