This is a remix of the Filament Guide for Creality Ender-3 or CR-10, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052488 from Holspeed. I added a Filament Runout Sensor to the design. The switch must conform to DIN 41635 standards, featuring a roller lever, such as "Hartmann MBB1 01 A 01 C09." Compatible options can be found at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32851369882.html. Attach a 3 Pin JST-XH connector to the switch as shown in the image. Alternatively, you can solder the cable directly onto the switch, although this is less desirable. The Filament Sensor will be mounted on the Z-Screw nut, positioned close enough to the extruder lever so that retraction does not cause filament entanglement. To integrate the Filament Runout Sensor successfully into your printer firmware, consult online instructions tailored to your specific controller board and Creality printer model.
