I'm still making good progress with my Gen 1 Ender 3. To adapt this Y stop design, I needed to address a change in the new Ender 3's Y sled configuration - it's now parallel, not offset. With a stepper damper installed, the wheel stops about 3-5mm short of triggering the end stop. Additionally, I modified the bracket by extending it and tightening tolerances around where the M4 screws attach it. This allows for more surface contact between the socket head of the M4 and its housing when tightened.
