Ender 3 Motherboard FAN Upper Case 80mm

UPDATE : Design in STL is different it has been corrected following the first version which added a hollow to ensure clearance of wheels on Y Axis. Replacement Ender 3 Mainboard Upper Case cover for an 80mm fan. It measures 80 x 80 x 25. Inspired by others' designs, I decided to build my own upper case cover to install an 80mm fan. You will need: 1x LM2596 Step Down Voltage Converter 2x M3x20 1x M3x30 1x M3 Washer INSTRUCTIONS : 1. Cut the 2-pin connector from the factory fan with about 70mm of wire. 2. Connect Positive and Ground to the "IN" onto your LM2596. 3. Start your Ender. 4. On your screen, go to Control / Temperature / Fan speed and set it max (255). 5. Your LM2596 should now indicate around 24v. 6. Adjust the voltage to around 12v by turning counterclockwise the screw on your LM2596. 7. Shutdown your Ender3. 8. Connect your Positive and Ground wire from your 12v fan to the "OUT" onto your LM2596. 9. Insert and screw the LM2596 into the case. 10. Insert and screw your 12v fan into the case.
