Ender 3 MKS + RPi cases

These are two mounting options for combining an MKS Gen L and Raspberry Pi 3B+ on the back of a Creality Ender 3 printer. Both cases have mounting holes and a pass-through port for connecting the RPi 3B+ to the MKS Gen L mainboard between them. The cases attach directly to the main rails in each side. However, the screw holes in these parts are initially non-threaded, requiring an M5 tap to thread them before mounting the cases. Each case has two lids - one for attaching on top of the case and another to fit over the other lid. The lids fasten securely using 7 M3 bolts and M3 square nuts. The MKS board accommodates a 60x60x10 mm 24V fan, while the RPi lid features a slit for routing a Raspberry Pi camera cable. The MKS board is secured to the bottom with 4 M3 16mm bolts and nuts (regular or locking nuts). The Raspberry case also has space for a Grove Relay and a 5V DC-DC buck converter to enable powering the RPi from the Ender PSU and controlling the 24V power to the MKS board. The Grove relay and DC-DC converters are mounted using M2 bolts and nuts. Update: March 2019 The RASP + MKS box has been shortened by 4 mm for improved cooling. The fan for the MKS is now turned 180 degrees for better airflow. New Additions: Toolboxes have been included. A toolbox on the right side was printed on an extended Ender-3 with a longer X-axis (235 mm).
