This is a crucial application for the MKS Gen L Board upgrade on your Ender 3. The mainboard fan must be installed from the outside due to the stepper drivers' presence. Strategically, the fan hole positions the fan to cool the stepper drivers directly. The existing design already accounts for tolerances of 0.5mm in both the lid and case, allowing for a seamless 100% print.
