This Ender 3 replacement mainboard case comes with a built-in adaptor designed for MKS Gen L compatibility. It effortlessly fits both Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro models, making the transition to this new mainboard seamless. The third part is an early development mount that works, but it's only compatible with Ender 3 Pro. Key features of this mainboard case include: - Compatible with both Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro. - Minimal filament usage and prints without support required. - Retains factory mounting hardware for easy installation. - Two lid pieces snap together for convenient, hinged access to the printer's interior. - The fan is relocated to the front, blowing over the stepper motor drivers. - Exit holes are strategically placed near the X stepper driver to enhance airflow even further. - Easy USB port access for smooth operation. However, one downside is that accessing the mainboard now requires opening from underneath, similar to the Ender 3 Pro setup. Nevertheless, only one bolt needs to be undone to swing open the lower lid, making the process relatively straightforward. To make under-side access even easier, try propping some filament rolls against the side of your printer. STEP files are included so you can remix and customize this design to suit other mainboards.
