Ender 3 Mesh Power Supply Boxes for 80mm Fan (Three Styles)
thingiverse
This box replaces the standard cover on an Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro Power Supply to allow an 80mm X 25mm fan. The stock fan is 12v, so a standard PC fan will work if you don't mind splicing the wires. I find that with a larger box, the fan runs less frequently, and 80mm fans are generally much quieter than their 40mm counterparts. Mine is now so quiet I have to look at the fan to see if it is running. Three files are included, so you may choose which one to print (CHOOSE ONE): 1. Ender_PSU_80mm_Fan_Mesh_Closed.stl - This is the one included in the pictures, and its honeycomb mesh completely covers the fan. 2. Ender_PSU_80mm_Fan_Mesh_Open.stl - If you like the honeycomb mesh, but prefer an open fan look, this one accomplishes both with its circular fan cutout. 3. Ender_PSU_80mm_Fan_Mesh_Standard.stl - This version is easier to print and more rigid, but with less sweet honeycomb mesh. Note: The part you are replacing contains some safety information as well as labels for the positive and negative terminals. I recommend using a sharpie or label to indicate the polarity of each connector, or save the original lid to reference later.
