it was time we got a fan duct upgrade for the ender 3 max. it works really well, and is designed to fir the standard ender 3 max plate. you need to remove the heating cartirage and thermister to route it throught the duct. this was to make it possible to mount on the ender 3 max plate. but it takes 2 minutes. use all original hardware and skrews. i printed mine with 30% infill. @.16 layer height. support on the bed only (prusa slicer) if you can print ABS it would probably be better, but pla works great for me, i have not had any heat realted issues
