This is to help with designing hotend adapters for the Ender 3 Max since it uses a model-specific gantry plate. I printed a thin template (seen in red) and compared how the bolt holes line up with the original plate to confirm dimensional accuracy. The holes are all just small enough that typical hardware should self-thread a bit.
