Ender 3 Max front cover
thingiverse
I rarely touch the sd card since adding a pi and octoprint. Plus the usb is now on an extension linked under the Y extrusion so I have almost no reason to touch the front of the electronics enclosure. To tidy it up and add a little extra protection to the cable, I made this to hide the front panel. It allows for a protrusion of around 17mm from the case front for whichever USB lead is plugged in the slot so only those angling left/right/down with a profile lower than 17mm will fit under it. It secures using one bolt of the two on the far left of the printer, and also has a plug so you can add whatever you fancy to the top and slot it in the hole when the cover is bolted up. It is a quick removal if needed and does not affect the enclosure in any way other than being a cover to tidy it up.
